Who we are, and what we do.

Alivio-Telehealth is a non-profit 501c3 entity, registered in the state of California # 4763279.

  • Providing an innovative experience for health

  • Cares for underserved patients with poor medical access

  • Offers physician preceptors and health navigators

  • Contributes to the medical education of nursing and medical students.

Alivio-Telehealth’s background.

Jorge Monzón is the owner of A Vision International Productions.  Dr. Mark Díaz in coordination with other doctors, professionals, medical students and volunteers initiated this project in April 2020 as an organic response to the challenges presented by COVID-19 to our underserved Latino populations, community clinics, and pre-med and medical students.

Where does Alivio-Telehealth serve?

Currently, its services are established at clinics in Sacramento (Tepati, 1200 visits and Knights Landing,120 visits) with a total of 1320 visits per year. In addition, we expect to expand into other distant and agricultural areas of the central valley.

What are Alivio-Telehealth’s services?

We provide medical attention to the whole family face-to face and/or virtually.

  1. Medical check-ups

  2. Early detection

  3. Follow up

  4. Continuous monitoring

  5. Medical and mental health treatment

 

What is our service approach?

  • Rural and urban communities of the central valley of California.

  • Mitigate the different social and cultural barriers for these communities.

 

Who is Alivio Telehealth for?

  • Migrant camps

  • Community clinics in Sacramento

  • 33 counties in northern CA.

 

In addition:

  • Students perform health assessments face-to-face or virtually.

  • Alivio-Telehealth exposes pre-medical students to real, interactive practice.

  • Helps train a generation of skilled, bilingual health care providers.

  • Trains bilingual interpreters face-to-face and virtually.
